London Culture - Such famous names are Chaucer, Shakespeare, Dickens and Morrissey are just a few of the wonderful contributions the area of London has given the world. London is home to many a museum that you will relish the famous works inside their walls. The main museums include the Science Museum, the Natural History Museum, the Victoria and Albert Museum, the Imperial War Museum, The Museum of London and the National Maritime Museum. These make up just a few of the over 200 museums in the London area. See as many as time allows you to, they are all wonderful.

London also has five professional Symphony Orchestras which is plenty considering some areas have none or few. They are the London Symphony Orchestra , The London Philharmonic Orchestra, The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, The Philharmonia and the BBC Symphony Orchestra. London also has the Royal Opera and the Royal Ballet housed in the Royal Opera House at Covent Garden, to name a few of the halls that performances are held in. There are plenty of art exhibits.

The National Art Gallery and many other arts facility hold enormous amounts of fabulous works. There are modern dance productions that are exceptional and are performed in the Sadler’s Wells Thatre and the Barbican Centre.

The Nightlife in London is fantastic. There is so much to do. Try some of these places to listen to music. The UCL Bloomsbury, Mean Fiddler, Shepherds Bush Empire, London Astoria and Wembley Arena. Plus there are plenty of pubs and clubs that you can go to and drink and dance away the night.
